Projects

SKP Cleantech is ambitious to help the oil and gas sector curb the GHG emissions through a commitment to remain innovative and develop unique technologies to help achieve net-zero emissions. SKP intends to continue to focus on energy efficiency enhancement projects and develop a unique solution to the industrial challenges.

As an experienced engineering and consulting firm, we are well-positioned to advise the oil and gas industry in transitioning to a low-carbon economy. SKP looks forward to collaborating further with industry partners to drive emissions down and shifting toward a decarbonized economy ahead.

Emission Measuring and Monitoring

Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and Predictive Emission Measurement Systems (PEMS) allow facilities to monitor and measure emissions. By analyzing these emissions, facilities can optimize air-to-fuel ratios in process heaters, leading to increased energy efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. SKP Cleantech Corp will develop specifications and implement this technology.

Transforming Bitumen Froth Deaeration Process

The conventional oilsands extraction process relies on steam-intensive froth deaerators to make bitumen pumpable. While this method has been in use for years, it contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions. SKP Cleantech Corp has developed an innovative, electrified process that eliminates the need for steam, leading to a substantial reduction in GHG emissions and operational costs.

Flare Gas Recovery System (FGRS) and CHP System

Methane, a potent greenhouse gas, is often flared. SKP Cleantech Corp proposes capturing and utilizing this resource through CHP technology. This converts methane into lower-impact CO2, generates electricity, and recovers heat. Our CHP systems are adaptable to remote locations and can handle partially sour gas. This innovative solution offers energy efficiency and cost savings. SKP assists in identifying applications and developing project specifications.

Transforming Emergency Relief Blowdown (Flare) System

This innovative technology revolutionizes traditional emergency relief systems, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. By transforming current operating practices, this solution offers a more environmentally friendly and efficient approach to managing emergency relief scenarios.

Low-Grade Heat Utilization (Warm to Hot Process Water / Low Pressure Steam)

This technology harnesses low-grade heat resources, converting them into high-temperature energy that can be reused in industrial processes. Traditional practices often involve discarding low-grade heat, leading to inefficiency and energy waste. By recovering and repurposing this energy, this technology promotes sustainability and reduces operational costs.

Energy Efficiencies (Portfolio of Utilities Projects)

This technology portfolio comprises various small to medium-scale processes designed to optimize utility consumption, leading to significant cost savings and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. By reducing the need for additional water, steam, and power, eliminating instrument air for control valves, and improving HVAC system efficiency, this technology promotes energy efficiency and sustainability.
